Claire Burke

Burke (Coolfadda, Bandon) on May 12th 2024, in the exceptional care of the Staff of the Saoirse Unit at Clonakilty Community Hospital in the presence of her loving family. Claire (nee Ryan), beloved wife of the late Joe and dearly loved mother of David, Marguerite (McCarthy), Annette (O'Donoghue), Aidan and Joe, and sister of the late Donal and Jimmy Ryan.

Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, daughters-in-law Sandra, Katie and Catherine, sons-in-law Martin and John, her adored 14 grandchildren, sisters Kathleen, Marie, Pat and Margaret, brothers Noel, Thomas and Michael, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, kind neighbours and friends.

Claire will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Bandon, on Monday from 5pm followed by prayers at 7pm.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon in St. Patrick's Church, Bandon, which will be livestreamed on www.bandonparish.ie/, funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
