Claire Byrne
(née Cousins)

Byrne (née Cousins) Claire (late of Devenish Road, Kimmage) 14th August 2024, peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by her heartbroken family in the kind care of the staff of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. Beloved wife and best friend of Billy, adored mam of Stephen, Stuart and Claire and loving nana to Jake, Lara, Noah, Isabella and Emily.

Claire will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law Andre, daughters-in-law Sharina and Debbie, sisters Jean, Goretti and Pauline, brother Tony, sisters-in-law Margaret, Ellen, Bernie, Pauline and Yvonne, nieces, nephews, extended family, her wonderful neighbours and large circle of friends.

 

The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of Our Lady’s Hospice Homecare Team and to the staff of Comfort Keepers for the wonderful care they gave to Claire over the last few months.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Friday (16th August) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday (17th August) at 10am in St. Agnes Church, Crumlin Village followed by Burial in Bohernabreena Cemetery.
