Claire Grimes
(née Coughlan)
Claire Grimes (née Coughlan), 13 Seffin Avenue, Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly of Church Street, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, died peacefully on November 6th, 2024, in the wonderful care of the staff of The Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore. Predeceased by her parents Martin and Margaret, her brother Seamus and her sisters Phyllis and Carmel.
Deeply regretted by her loving husband Brian, her sons Conor and Ronan, daughters Catherine (Grimes-Horan) and Eleanor (Stokes), her brother Ger, sister-in-law Bridie, brother-in-law Jackie, sons-in-law Kieran and Peter and her daughters-in-law Maureen and Majella.
She will be sadly missed by her beloved grandchildren; Rachel, David, Sarah, Francesca, Paul, Laura, Clodagh, Cathal and Neasa, her great-granddaughter Emma, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at her daughter Catherine’s home (Árd Aoibhinn Whiteford Birr R42RY77) on Saturday evening from 5pm. -7pm. Removal on Sunday morning to arrive at St. Brendan’s Church, Birr, at 11. 45am. for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
