Marshall (née Gibney) Claire, 26th February 2026, (Walkinstown), passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the kind care of the staff of Gorey Care Centre and previously under the wonderful care of the MISA Unit, St. James’s Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Kevin, much loved Mam of Colette, Damian, Marian and Paula and adored Nana of Niamh, Caoileann, Shane, Philip, Ross, Conor, Kevin and Rory and great-grandchildren Liam, Saorlaith, Ríoghna, Ella and Jake. Predeceased by her brothers Paddy and Gerry and sisters Via and Maureen.

 

Claire will be forever loved and sadly missed by her loving children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Paul, Michael and Tom, sister Joan, brothers Dessie and Michael, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

May Claire rest in peace.

 

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Sunday (1st March) from 1pm to 3pm. Funeral Mass on Monday (2nd March) at 11.30am in St. Agnes’s Church, Crumlin Village followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery.
