Claire MURPHY

MURPHY (late of Ballinteer, D16 and formerly of Cobh, Co. Cork) – February 16th 2024 (peacefully) surrounded by her family and friends and in the wonderful care of the staff at Ailesbury Nursing Home, Sandymount. Claire (formerly of IBM and long standing student of the School of Philosophy); dearly beloved daughter of the late Tom and Catherine Murphy (The Park, Cobh), much loved sister of Tony and predeceased by her sisters Marjorie, Aurley and Reena and brothers Don, Raymond and Charlie. Sadly missed by her loving brother, sister-in-law Madeleine, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of loyal friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 PW73 on Wednesday (Feb 21st) from 5pm to 7pm with family present (all welcome to attend). Removal on Thursday (Feb 22nd) to the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Ballinteer Avenue D16 VK27 arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to the Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross D6W HY98 arriving for 12 noon Cremation Service.
