Claire O’Rourke (née Geoghegan); Suntown, Rosemount, Moate, and late of Carne, Castletown Geoghegan, Mullingar, Co Westmeath. Peacefully on 29th January 2025, in her 90th year, in the loving care of the staff in Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Longford.
Predeceased by her husband Bernard, sons John and Paul, son-in-law Johnny, brothers and sisters.
It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Sadly missed by her children Rosemary, Bernardine, Eileen, Caroline, Seamus, Linda, Conor and Alan, sisters-in-law Maureen and Mai, sons-in-law Eugene, Tom and Kevin, daughter-in-law Lisa, Seamus’s partner Yasmin, and Conor's partner Paula, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all of her extended family nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends.
May Claire Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Flynns Funeral Home, Moate on Friday 31st from 5pm to conclude with Prayers at 7pm. Removal from her residence on Saturday 1st February to arrive at St. Thomas Church, Rosemount, at 11.50 for Funeral Prayers. Funeral Mass at 12 (noon). Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
