Clare Carroll (née O’Connor) of 9 Braganza, Carlow and formerly Mount Merrion Avenue, Backrock, Dublin, passed away peacefully on March 7th 2024, at home in the loving care of her family and carers.

Beloved wife of the late Redmond, much loved mother of Paul, Jean (Murphy) and Ros (Gahan), adored grandmother of David, Paul, Clare and Cormac and treasured sister of the late Frank.

She will be deeply mourned by her loving son, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law Nick and Paddy, sister-in-law Donna, nephew John, niece Kelly, relatives and many friends.

May Clare’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Carpenters Funeral Home, Shamrock Square, Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) on Friday, March 8th from 3pm with removal that evening at 5.45pm to The Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow arriving for reception Prayers at 6pm. Funeral Mass at 10am on Saturday followed by burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
