Clare Geraldine LARAMIE
(née Duffy)

Clare passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda on Monday, February 12th, 2024. Clare had a special ability to connect with people wherever she went. She was also an expert host and storyteller; all who knew her would no doubt attest to this. Making people feel seen and important was something Clare did every day. Clare was a remarkable and well loved primary school teacher in Kansas City, Missouri and on the Cooley Peninsula, Co Louth. She was predeceased by her parents Philip and Maura and brothers Simon and Philip. Clare will be greatly missed by her husband Tom, children Éamonn, Maura, Fiona and Clodagh, and siblings, Joe (Geraldine), Alice, Maureen (Ciarán), Brendan, Pauline (Mark) and Evelyn , as well as her nieces, nephews, extended family and her many friends at home and abroad.

Reposing at her home (Eircode A91 FV04) on both Wednesday, February 14th, and Thursday, February 15th, from 12 noon - 10pm. HOUSE PRIVATE AT ALL OTHER TIMES, PLEASE. Removal on Friday, February 16th at 12.20pm to St. Mary's Church, Ravensdale, (Eircode A91 DW68), arriving for Funeral Mass at 1pm. followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery.
