Claudette GEORGE
(née Noujaim)
GEORGE, Claudette (née Noujaim), peacefully passed on, 31 March, 2020. From Kano, Nigeria via Beirut to Killiney, County Dublin, she was a polyglot, intrepid traveller, incredible chef and will be remembered for her most generous care of others.

Claudette died in St Vincent’s Private Hospital from a long illness after a number of days in the arms of her devoted daughters, Nathalie, Simone and Lisa.
She is already missed terribly by her daughters, their father Brian and she will always be the adored Teta of granddaughters, Annie and Lainey. She is survived by her brother Henry, sister Margot, brother-in-law Pat, (who was as a father to her), her nieces and nephews (who were as siblings to her), extended family, family-in-law and her closest friends, Judy, Lillian, Doris and Anne.
In order to keep family and friends safe, Claudette’s funeral will take place privately and with close family attending online.
The family will celebrate her life, in true Claudette style, at a later date. Flowers and donations can be made then. The family ask that you honour Claudette and support them at this sad time, and protect the staff of our hospitals who cared so lovingly and expertly for Claudette during her illness, by staying home, safe and well.
