Claus Plaass

Plaass, Claus (Spanish Point, Co. Clare, Kilcolgan, Galway and Kiel, Germany), peacefully, after a long adventurous life, just before his 90th birthday, in the wonderful care of the staff at his nursing home. Predeceased by his twin brother Helmut, beloved husband of Hanna, loving father of Astrid (Comerford). Sadly missed by his cherished grandsons Philip and Mark Comerford, son in law Dermot Comerford, sisters in law Inge Twyford and Jason, Karin Plaass with Wiebke und Olaf, cousin Marianna Hoff and his many friends and neighbours in counties Clare and Galway and in Germany.

A private farewell ceremony will take place in Kiel on May 5th and a celebration of his life will be held in Ireland at a later stage.

A special thank you to the amazing staff at the nursing home "Haus am Kloster" Preetz and to Dr Maethner, who took great care of Claus during his difficult last few months.
