COLETTE EGAN (Cork City, Schull and Ballydehob, Co. Cork): On August 4th, 2025, peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff of Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, loving mother of Eoghan, sister of Marguerite, Rosaleen, Fiona, Orla, and the late Ciarán.

Sadly missed by her beloved Deirdre, brother-in-law Laurence, sisters-in-law Mary and Carol, Rosaleen’s partner Mike, nieces and nephews Anluan, Fiachra, Daire, Tighearnach, Rúadhán, Niamh, Ailbhe, El, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family and wide circle of friends across West Cork and Ireland.

Colette’s kindness, compassion and unwavering positivity lit up every room and she will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Reposing at the Mayfield Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Wednesday (August 6th) from 2.00pm with a Ceremony at 2.45pm, followed by cremation at 5.00pm at The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy.

No flowers please. Donations in lieu to Marymount Hospice, whose diligent and dedicated staff took great care of Colette.
