The death has occurred of
Colette Knight
(née Gillespie)
On June 8th, 2025, peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of staff at Bantry General Hospital. COLETTE, beloved wife of the late Jack, loving mother of Anthony, Robert and Adele, dear sister of Mai, Frank, the late Mairead, Michael, Seán, Nuala, Liam, Brendan and Evelyn. Sadly missed by her family, daughters-in-law Bridie and Lynne, grandsons Jordan and Dylan, Jordan’s fiancée Shannen, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grandnephews, great-grandnieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing in Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Tuesday June 10th from 5.30pm to 7pm with vigil prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass at St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry on Wednesday June 11th, at 12noon (to view live stream please click here) followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery, Bantry.
