The death has occurred of
Colin Wilson
Wilson (Leap): On February 8th, 2026 peacefully in the tender care of the Doctors, nurses and staff of Ward 4C at the Cork University Hospital, and in the presence of his heart-broken family, Colin, beloved eldest son of the late George and Violet Wilson, Kilmacabea, Leap and brother of the late John and Harold.
Deeply regretted by his loving sister Hazel (O’Sullivan), brothers Allen, Billy and Albert, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and his many very close and dear friends.
May He Rest In Peace.
Reposing in Shanahans Funeral Home, Leap on Wednesday, 11th February from 5.30pm to 7.00pm followed by prayers. Funeral service on Thursday, 12th February at 12 noon in the Church of Ireland, Leap which will be live-streamed on the funeral service link below. Funeral immediately afterwards to Christ Church cemetery, Shandrum, Drinagh.
