The death has occurred of

Colm Fahy

Agrimhill, Gortanumera, Portumna, Galway

Colm passed peacefully from this life on Thursday 17th February, in the care of Galway Hospice, surrounded by his loving family.
He is predeceased by his father Tom.

Following a short illness courageously borne, supported by his heart broken wife Síle, Colm will be deeply missed by his adored children, Anna, Seán and Tom, mother Mary, brother Tomás, sister Elaine, father in law Miko (Ryan), sisters in law, Paula, Kay, Orla, Emma and Deirdre, brother in law Anthony and Elaine's partner Diarmuid, nephews Tomás and Ronan, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Loving husband, daddy, son, brother, uncle and cousin, superb colleague, true friend, keen cyclist, car and jeep enthusiast, lover of animals, music and sport.
Colm loved his job and his work.
He was so much to so many.

Colm will repose in Portumna Retirement Village (H53 AY18),

Sunday, 20th February, from 4pm to 6pm.

Please note face masks are mandatory for indoor gathering, hand gel use and social distancing is recommended in keeping with Public Health guidelines to reduce Covid transmission.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of Colm's  soul on Monday, 21st February, at 11am in St Brigid's Church, Portumna. The Mass will be streamed on the following link

The burial will take place immediately afterwards in Kilcorban Cemetery, where Colm will be laid to rest near his late father Tom.

Colm's cortège will leave his home at 10:10am, making its way to St Brigid's Church, Portumna, via Gortanumera and St. Joseph's Road. Family, friends and neighbours are invited, if they wish to stand at their gates or line the route, as a mark of support to the family. Please maintain social distance for each other as directed by HSE and Public Health.
