Retired teacher of Summerhill College, Sligo.

 

Passed away peacefully in the Exceptional Care of the doctors , nurses and staff at The North West Hospice, Sligo and Sligo University Hospital.

 

 

 

Predeceased by his beloved wife Ann ,his brothers Tom and Fr. Gregory

 

 

 

Dear father of Shane , Sinéad and Paul.

 

He will be sadly missed and cherished by his sons , daughter, daughters-in-law Caroline and Pey Ru, son-in-law Niall, his adored grandchildren Sophie, Daniel, Philip and Peyton, his sister Sr. Bernardine (Nazareth House), Sisters-in-law Chris (Gurteen), Mary (Guelph,Canada), Carmel (Enniskillen), brother-in-law Anthony (Tuam), spouses, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors and friends.

 

Rest in Peace.

 

Reposing at The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo (F91 YR61) on Sunday 31st August from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Funeral will arrive to St. Columba’s Church, Rosses Point, Sligo (F91 X638) on Monday 1st September at 12:00pm for Requiem mass with funeral proceeding to McGowan’s Crematorium, Collooney, Co. Sligo (F91 AKW5) for a Cremation Service after.
