The death has occurred of
Con (Cornelius) O'Sullivan
On November 7th, 2024, peacefully in the presence of his family at Bantry General Hospital. CON, beloved husband of Mary née Collins, loving father of Fiona, Elaine, Niall, Emer and Aidan, dear brother of Mick, Oliver and Paddy, treasured grandfather of Daire, Ben, Aoife, Ava, Max, Grace, Aidan. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Ivan and Colin, Niall’s partner Josee and Aidan’s partner Nicola, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and a large circle of friends.
The O’Sullivan family wish to acknowledge and thank the staff of Aperee Living Nursing Home for their care of Con over the last two years and to thank the staff at Bantry General Hospital for their outstanding care on his final journey.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Sunday, Nov. 10th, from 6pm to 8pm with vigil prayers at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Monday, Nov. 11th, at 12noon at St. Finbarr’s Church, Bantry (to view live stream please click here) followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to the Friends of Bantry General Hospital, c/o Bantry General Hospital.
