Con Morrissey
MORRISSEY (Cork) On 7th July 2024, peacefully, in the presence of his loving family and in the tender care of the staff of the Mercy University Hospital, CON, Ringmahon Avenue, Mahon and late of G4S Security. Loving father of Peter and Lizzie. Beloved son of the late Peter and Lizzie Morrissey and loving brother of Christine and the late Brenda, Noreen, Mag, Peter and Eileen.
Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren Taylor, Sam and Charlie, son-in-law Bobby, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, brothers-in-law, close friends of the Maple Leaf Bar, Blackrock, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Tuesday (9th July) at 12noon, family in attendance from 4.00pm with Rosary at 5.00pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday (10th July) at 3.00pm in the Church of the Holy Cross, Mahon. Funeral afterwards to The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy.
The family wish to thank the staff of the Mercy University Hospital for the care and kindness shown to Con during his illness.
