Niall Hayden

I got to know Niall through the considerable work he did for the National Council for Educational Awards. He was a very helpful contributor on accountancy education and personally a very good man. God rest his soul. My sincere sympathies with all his family.

Niall served the homeless without stint and with his own great gifts of warmth, humour and wisdom. He has left a rich legacy in many lives and we will remember his decency and kindness always. I was so sorry to hear of Niall’s passing. I have wonderful memories of him from my Regional College days. He was a brilliant teacher and a true gentleman. Rest In Peace Niall.

Niall was one of my first lecturers when I started as a student in DKIT in 1979 and I later had the privilege of working alongside him. He was a great lecturer, colleague and person.

Greatly Saddened to learn of the passing of Niall and condolences to all of the extended Hayden Families .Niall and my late brother Brendan soldiered together in London as young men during a period of more widespread emigration and played with London Irish Rugby teams as I recall.
