Déanaim comhbhrón ó chroí le Tony, agus le muintir agus cairde Chlíona. Rinne sí tréan obair ar son na Gaeilge i gColáiste na Tríonóide agus beidh mé i gcónaí buíodh di as an tacaíocht agus an cúnamh a thug sí dom nuair a thosaigh mé san ollscoil.
Comhbhrón ó chroí le Tony agus muintir agus cairde Chlíona. Ba mhór an pléisiúr i gcónaí a bheith ina comhluadar, í suáilceach, spraoiúil, álainn, agus meangadh gáire a las suas an iliomad seomraí fud fad na tíre agus thar lear. Codladh sámh a Chlíona.
Tony, our heartfelt sympathies to you, and the O’Shuilleabhain family, on the untimely passing of our dear friend Cliona. Fond memories of her sparkling company over the years, at sessions, and many outdoor activities.Cliona had a huge zest for life, coupled with a generous, kind, and gentle heart which came through in her endearing smile. So grateful for her friendship, so sad at her passing. May she rest in peace.
We first met Clíona in 1988 at the Celtic Festival in Lorient. She and her friend Maeve were so kind to our children and especially our baby son. Our paths have crossed many times over the years since then and we were always delighted when Clíona and Tony came to support us when we hosted at the Howth Singing Circle. Clíona was a very special person and we are very shocked and saddened by her death.
Very taken aback to hear of Clíona’s illness and passing too soon. Eoin Bairéad (above) and I met her and her mother many years ago through set-dancing. Any time our paths crossed since we were always met with a warm smile and genuine interest. That was apparently her way according to many who have written here. She will be sadly missed but well-remembered. We walked down to Mt Jerome to pay our respects: her willow coffin and flowers were beautiful. Unfortunately we could follow her no further but our hearts were with her and you, Tony. May she rest in peace and may you find strength, succour an support at this most difficult of times.
So sad and shocked to hear of Cliona’s passing. Can’t believe that I won’t see her again. I got to know her in the gym in the mature group! I was hoping to see and hear her perform and so sad that I won’t now.
Sending my deepest sympathy to her husband Tony , family and friends.
Dear Tony and Cian, I am thinking of you both at this very sad time. I have fond memories of the afternoon we spent together in Boyle after an event at the Boyle Arts Festival and many many happy parties in the house in Ranelagh in a younger happier time. She was a bright light in our lives.
Nous pensons très fort à toi, Tony.
Cliona était une amie extraordinaire, qui va beaucoup nous manquer.
So sorry to hear the sad news of Cliona's passing. I have lovely memories of going on playdates in her house as a child, our paths also crossed in secondary school and subsequently we met up through mutual friends over the years. Our sympathies to you on your loss of such a lovely, warm person.
Sincerest condolences to Tony and Clíona's large circle of friends. Her jolly laugh and great sense of humour will be sadly missed.
So sorry to hear about Cliona. Deepest sympathy to Tony and her family
We are so saddened to learn of the passing of a lovely lady, Clíona. One of our first years at the music week in Leitrim, Clíona must have noticed this flute/piper 'widow' on her own and made it a point to chat and include me going out for a meal, even if my thick American ears could hardly even really latch onto her name. Soon it was, 'where are ye? we're down at the lake swimming!' Always such a comfortable smile, quiet empathy and generosity of spirit.

SUCH a lovely writing by her colleague/friend. And SUCH a lovely women - so wonderfully cheerful, and down to earth, and no nonsense about her, and generous and looking after others at all times ...... and LIVELY - don't forget that; quiet, but never shy ..........especially not if it meant seeing to someone else. Lovely singer, musician, dancer. She will be greatly missed.

My heart goes out to Tony and all of Clíona's dear friends and family. From Anne and Bill in New Hampshire
Sincere sympathy to Cliona's family. Fond memories of lovely Cliona from our school days at HCK.
Tony, I'm so dreadfully sorry to hear that lovely Cliona had to leave this world.

I met her for the first, and sadly, the only time at our mutual friend Eileen Ross's funeral, a year ago, and realised she was a very special lady, and I looked forward to getting to know my cousin once we were free to socialise.

Alas, it wasn't meant to be. However, I truly believe that we will see her again, and this time she will be surrounded by family, friends and all those we now grieve for.
And there will be music, singing, dancing and laughing........ lots of laughing..... and what stories we will hear ! Of course there will be all the animals that we loved.
And there will be tears, but they be tears of everlasting joy !

In the meantime, Tony, I pray that God will help you through these dark times, and the lovely Cliona will never be too far from you.
Tony, I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Clíona and wish to offer my deepest condolences to you at this time. She was a beautiful person and such a pleasure to be in her company and hear her wonderful playing of the concertina and singing. It was a blessing and a privilege to have known her. I cannot express enough how sad I feel for you and all of Cliona's family and friends. Thinking of you all at this sad and strange time from both myself and Kieran. Solas na bhflaitheas dá hanam dílis.

Tony. Just watched the beautifuI send-off ceremony for Clíona. I know Clíona via my friend Lelia Murtagh. In fact Clíona stayed at my home in France while I was visiting Ireland. Last time I met Clíona was at Lelia s birthday a year ago. She was her usual bubbly self. Mairfidh sí beo inár gcuimhne. Wishing you strength and happiness Tony.

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Cliona’s passing. We referred to each other as “petals’ - flowers in each other’s lives. I have so many fond memories of her, but also far too few. May we all continue to bask in the warmth of her smile and spirit as we take her with us going forward. Tony, may you find comfort and gentleness in this difficult time.
Condolences, Tony, on Cliona’s death, and sympathy to the extended families. Great memories from the hill-walking days. Mind yourself at this sad time.
Dear Tony, my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Clíona was a pure gem and I am so sorry and heartbroken to hear of her passing. It is hard to comprehend. I have only good memories of my meet-ups with Clíona over the past 20 years, she was so smart & witty and happy & hugely entertaining to talk to. May she rest in peace. Valerie
