Deepest sympathy to the Hoffman family on the sad loss of your son/brother Andrew .RIP.
My condolences to Andy's family and friends.

Athlone is going to miss this oversized fella on his oversized motorbike riding round town with a cigarette sticking out dead centre from his mouth, like a biker narwhal.

Great colleague and great friend and a lovely bloke.

I'll miss you Andy, my little buttercup, rest in peace.
Bob so very sorry to hear of your brother Andrew's passing. Our condolences to you and all your family. While I never met him I only have to read all the lovely messages left here by his family ,friends and work colleagues to know how wonderful he was. Keeping Andrew and you all in our prayers. Claire (David's sister) Bohermeen Navan

It’s was with great sadness that ros, Berna, Niall and I heard of your untimely passing. Andy I met you in athlone 8 yrs ago ago straight away you told me my mum is best friends with your partners mum what a small world. Today we are so sad for your entire family but deeply sad for your wonderful mum Vi. May you rest in peace and I promise the next time I am in athlone I will take that tray up as a oath of respect to your memory. Keep safe with all those good people gone before you and may all angels protect you until we meet again. Una
Hoffo, you made school bearable, I have many happy memories of our time in St. Andrews. Hope your fingerless gloves keep you warm.

My deepest sympathies to the Hoffman family and friends.

Andy was a true gentleman and a pleasure to work with! He always had a smile for everyone and was willing to help out anyone at the drop of a hat. He's a legend in many people's eyes.

We had many an enthusiastic conversation about motorbiking and his trips. I'll miss him greatly.

Bobs eulogy was lovely and allowed those of us who only knew a few sides of him to learn a lot more about how truely great he was.

RIP Andrew!
Sincere condolences in this difficult time to all the Hoffman family, his extended family and friends.
@ndy always had a smile which was very infectious, always professional in his dealings and a true gentleman.
The way he spread humor was nothing short of a talent.

Lovely words from Bob at the service, really captured the moment.

RIP Mr.Hoffman
My deepest sympathies to Andy's family. It was an absolute delight to see Andy (or "the Hoff" as some of us used to call him) outside when I went for a cigarette at work, beside his "baby" so he could "keep an eye on her". I'm really sad to know when I go back to the office he won't be there any more with his amazing wit and pure kindness and cheer. He was an inspiration of a man; the world was a brighter place with him around.

"Seasons greetings" Andy, RIP
Sincere sympathy to the Hoffman family on the sad untimely passing of Andrew

I had the pleasure of working with @ndy for many years in Ericsson, a true gentleman, friend and colleague. The lunchtime chats and the daily fights over who would collect all the trays are memories treasured. He had the patience of a saint, specifically remembering the time I asked him to create an escape room for a Tech Day in Ericsson – nothing was ever a problem with @ndy, he always had a solution.

Rest in Peace Mr. Hoffman
Sincere sympathy with you all on the passing of Andrew, with a special big hug to Vi. May he rest in peace.
Sincere condolences in this difficult time to all the Hoffmans. Andrew and the lads were part of the fabric of St. Andrew's when I was there on and off the rugby pitch. Sorry I couldn't be there today but followed the service on youtube. Bob's eulogy was wonderful.

From having first met Andrew 35 years ago and subsequently having the pleasure of working with him in Logica for a number of years. Andrew’s was an inspiration and joy every time we met. May he Rest In Peace.

I had the pleasure of working with Andy, an absolute and true gentleman. Always willing to help, always quick witted, always put a smile on my face. I will remember the bottle of coke in the back pocket, how he would collect everyone’s trays at lunch, the visor up and the lit cigarette.
Until we meet again @ndrew, Rest In Peace.

Hopefully Andrew is ride the perfect BMW in perfect weather somewhere.
I have worked with @ndrew for years, but more importantly he has been a friend for years, his untimely passing has shocked me to the core. Andy was an absolute joy to work with and I will miss his daily interactions and endless wit, infectious, you couldn't but leave an encounter without a smile. The craic would start in the mornings on the way into work when we would meet each other at red traffic lights and have a quick chat, the worse the weather the funnier it would be - going in like drownded rats. It was an honour to know the guy and I am the better for it, his work ethic was second to none, professional, knowledgeable, yet humble and always eager to help. I will miss him dearly.
Rest in Peace dear friend.
Sincere condolences to all the Hoffman family. Thinking of you Bob, Ann, Amy & Robbie at this difficult time. RiP.

I was so sorry to hear of Andrews passing. We had not met up for quite a while but would bump into each other occasionally like nothing had changed since school. He would always manage to make me laugh. A wonderful person. My deepest sympathies to all the family. Steve.
Oh I'm so very sorry to hear of poor Andy's passing. Worked quite a bit with Andy over the years and there was never an issue too big or tricky that he wouldn't work through with a smile. He was an absolute expert in his field but more than that he was a very generous man who had a word, laugh and a smile for everyone...
