We were deeply saddened to hear of Diarmuid’s passing and he, a nurse himself, will be fondly remembered by many. Eileen has our unwavering support at this difficult time and she and her family are in our thoughts.

I am so sorry to hear of the Diarmuids untimely passing. I had recently reconnected with Diarmuid, having worked with him preciously in St. Raphaels and Cheeverstown. Such a gentleman, kind, caring, interested and a fantastic sense of humour. He lit up a room with his beautiful presence and everybody loved him. As next door neighbours to Diarmuid for many years I always felt blessed to have Diarmuid to call on when my mam and dad got on in years. I was so saddened to hear about the loss of your dear father. I too lost my father in 2010 so I know the pain your heart feels. The passing of a loved one is never easy and I pray that God gives you and your entire family peace and strength during this very difficult time in your lives. He was most obliging and always ready to support family and extended family in every way possible. He was a nurse by profession but could turn his hand to anything that needed doing in anyone's home. He gave of his time freely, was never in a mad rush but always got the job done. He will be greatly missed by all family members and by the many friends who knew him.
