My prayers for the entire family. Charlie was a great boss when I worked for him and a fabulous friend after. I remember working opposite him at an old Eldi repair stand under what I thought was his watchful eye - getting more and more nervous that his dedicated gaze meant something I was doing was somehow wrong and he was patiently waiting for me to notice on my own - only to later realize he was just lost in thought as his practiced hands continued to work on his side of the stand like second nature. He educated me on bikes, the greats of cycling and life. I learned hard work and respect for hard work from a sometimes irascible but always earnest and funny gentleman. I will miss him. Love to you all Noreen, Allen and Yvonne
