Eileen, I only learned of Brian’s passing last evening. I worked with Brian in the Foreign Branch proper to his transfer to Cork, when we then lost touch.

My sincere condolences to Eileen, Gareth, Russell and Brian's extended family and many friends. I worked in Currency Services Waterford and Brian and I had many long chats and frequent visits. He was a consummate host and proudly showed me his woodturning and brought me to Garryduff Sports Centre. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace.

Eileen I so sorry to hear about the passing of your beloved Brian. Since I heard I'v been thinking a lot about him. Do you remember (3×novice girls! + 2 experienced travellers - u +Brian) and our big 'camping' trip to France and Brian coming to the damsels rescue! Such fun. On my hall table I have a lovely wood turned bowl that Brian gave me many moons ago and I often think of him because of it.

My condolences to Brian’s wife and family, brothers and sister and extended family. Brian was a classmate of mine in CBC, Cork and we met up at class reunions. I was a Co/ exhibitor and stall-holder at an arts and crafts fundraiser for the Christian Brothers in Tanzania held about fifteen years ago in the College Hall. My memories of Brian are of a benevolent smiling face and gentle outgoing personality. May you rest in peace, Brian.
