My condolences to all Monica's family. We never met - I'm the daughter of Joan McLoughlin (born Denehan) - mum was a cousin of Monica - but I heard a lot about the Nolans over the years.

I have lovely memories of living across the road from Monica's shop in my early years in Edenderry. My apologies for not being able to attend Monica's funeral today but I listened in on Webcam to her beautiful Mass and I had the privilege of hearing Monica's Life story. Monica was a really kind,warm and caring person.I literally remember her back when I was abt 9yrs old.(42yrs old now)
I would often visit Edenderry on holiday.My father (Con Hope) is from Edenderry.Myself and my three sisters would love nothing more than visiting her shop and getting an ice cream!! R.i.P lovely lady 🩷xx
