So sad today to hear of Bine’s passing. She was a wonderful daughter to Nana and Grandad a few doors away and she always took care of Danny. To my mother Nellie she was a fantastic big sister advising her on many things including fashion in their young days going to the dances on their bicycles and later on when our family was growing my brother and I went to stay for a while in Ballyclough and went to school there.
Her lettuces, onions and tomatoes were delicious to us as young children. Her jelly and custard was to die for.
I don’t ever remember a cross word from our beloved aunt. She saw the best in everyone. May you Rest In Peace Bine ❌
