My sincere sympathy to each member of Ada’s family as you mourn the sudden passing of Ada; an extraordinary woman, as highlighted at her very special and beautiful funeral liturgy, I can only imagine how she loved the beauty and dignity of it all. A number of months I spent with Ada in Kilrush bring to mind a very young woman of joy and encouragement, jumping for joy as she played the piano and we sang along. Years later, on various occasions, I met Ada and was always inspired by her positivity and her incredible commitment to making the world a better place for everyone. I know she is singing Alleluias with the God she loved so much and revealed to so many.

We were saddened to hear of Ada's death and we want to express our sincere sympathy to her many siblings, nieces and nephews.Ada was a wonderful,kind and thoughtful lady who gave much and helped many of us. May she rest in external peace.

We have wonderful memories of our speech + drama days with Ada, in particular the shows she organized in aid of Sr. Mary Barry’s work in Africa, for the daycare centre and nativity plays. Ada overcame much adversity in her life, determined to focus on her abilities, not her disability. She instilled confidence and courage in all her students. She repeatedly told us we ‘would make a difference in the world’ and led by example through her kindness, generosity and community spirit. May she rest in peace.
