Dear Ian, we are saddened by the passing of your dad. It’s hard to lose a parent let alone a friend. Yourself and Leigh-Ann were so good to him in his final weeks and I hope the strength you have together will see you through these tough times. Sincere condolences to your mum, brother and sister. My deepest sympathies to Catherine and all the family on their sad loss. Adrian was a dear friend as we sailed through life in our early teens. Many treasured memories of us listening endlessly to the Beatles first LP in in the front room of Adrian’s parents house on Grace Park Terrace. RIP

120 young men came into Esb on 25th October 1965. Adrian & myself among them. He was a man of many great qualities, decent, respectable, funny and a pleasure to befriend. May the Lord have mercy on him & comfort his wife and family.

I have fond memories of Adrian driving myself, my brother and Kate around in his camper van telling us stories and making us all laugh. He was a kind and charismatic man, qualities his daughter inherited. Thinking of Kate and Stephanie during this time, much love for both of you.
