Adrienne (Aideen) O'Reilly

I only heard today that Adrienne passed away. I can’t even begin to express my sadness at the news. I will always cherish memories of our chats and plans about trips to Italy. My sincere condolences to her family. May she rest in peace.

Adrienne Early 80's and memories of late night chats on the Newport Road with You and Mairead H . UCG followed then , the Warwick. & TIgh Neachtains seats of learning too. Over the decades We met often at Mayo Matches on our Via Dolorosa . Your rapier wit often at my expense . I remember a magical evening under the stars on Inishbofin reminiscing over a lovely Amarone (it had to be Italian) about times past and planning future adventures. It was sadly not to be but I treasure the memories and I am so glad our paths crossed all those years ago even if only because you fancied my friend. Rest well Adrienne till we meet again in the certain knowledge that having met your nieces tonight your chic gene is alive and well and the spirit will never die . God speed. See you in the stars

Anne, Tish, Catherine and Frank, even though we knew Aideen was very ill, it is still hard to comprehend she is no longer with us. Like her Dad she was a beautiful singer and was full of life. She loved nothing better than meeting with family and friends - it was lovely that she got to visit Leixlip and catch up with her cousins, something we will always treasure. RIP Aideen. 💔

I was shocked and saddened to hear of the untimely death of Adrienne. I had the pleasure of working with Adrienne in WHB in Castlebar some years ago. She spent a short time with us in Payroll but certainly left a lasting impression, such a lovely bubbly enthusiastic colleague.
