Am so sad to hear of Adriennes passing. We did Art class together at Doras Bui every Tuesday. She was so witty and great fun. I will miss her infectious laugh. Condolences to her family, she was so proud of you all.

I was so sad to hear of Adrienne's passing. She was in my art class in Doras Buí and lit up the class with her enthusiasm and good humour. I enjoyed chatting with her about her grandchildren of whom she was immensely proud and about her trips to Arizona. She was the type of student who you hoped would be at every class. The room was duller without her and we will miss her when we return to class.
The eulogy at her funeral mass was very moving.

We used to walk, hot blisters

Adrienne, the Sands & I
With my youth in her hand

With a pocketful of change
On Holy Communion Day

Of her protective steel working brothers

Adrienne the Sands & I

All of us Feeneys over here in North America mourn the passing of our beloved Auntie Adrienne. Her tremendous spirit, the beautiful smile & hearty laugh will always remain with us. Her gift for story telling of her wonderful Sands family from blessed Ballybough was treasured. She was the youngest of that large brood but a cherished spark of life. We shared a Feb. 3rd birthday over the years & never lost touch. Not to hear the distinct sound of her wonderful voice with the great diction is a major loss but she is home again with her eternal soulmate Paddy. Our love goes out to her lovely family & friends. Rest in peace my lovely Auntie Adrienne.

I got to know her through our wonderful dance classes and weekends away and I genuinely loved her company. While I appreciate this time is so difficult for you all, I hope you take comfort from the fact that she lived life to the full and despite losing the love of her life, she carved out a new structure for her life. She will be missed, particularly her fabulous smile and sense of fun.
