Aedín McDonald

Dear Brendan, Niamh, Dara and Brendan jnr, I was so sorry to hear of the recent passing of Aedin. I've many lovely memories of her fun and laughter growing up on the Grove. Thinking of you all at this sad time and sending lots of love. May she rest in peace.

Brendan, Niamh, Dara (Bubbles) and Brendan. Years of our families being intertwined through the wonderful Eileen and my Mam Ellie's friendship. Many years of playing in your house, being babysat or mam babysitting you guys. I am so very sad to be writing this. Even after all these years, I remember how Aedín would light up a room with her smile. We haven't seen each other in so many years, but your family will always be a huge part of my life and often come into my thoughts. We were so sad to hear about the passing of Aedin. We remember her visits to New York well and it would also be so good to see her whenever we were back in Dublin. She was a wonderful beautiful person. So funny and such fun to be around. Our sympathies to all the family. She will be truly missed.

Aedin was an exceptional volunteer who will be remembered by us all.

I am so sorry for your loss. Aedin was such a wonderful person. Kind, funny and always great company. We had some great years hanging out together in Taney. I’ll always remember her big mohair jumpers (including the bee one) and her love of the number 28. The world will be less fun without her.
