She always made time and in that time she made you feel so good. She was always talking about James and family. May Agnes rest in peace.

A real lovely lady! She was one of the first people to welcome my wife and i when we returned to Ireland.
She always gave us a great welcome every time we popped into her shop.
The world is a sadder place now without her smilling face.
God have mercy on her.

I only met this lovely woman once at a friend’s wedding and I will never forget her Joie de vivre. She danced the night away. My condolences on your sad loss

I was very sad to hear about the recent passing of Agnes. I will always have very fond memories of when you all lived across the road from us. She was such a lovely lady whose warmth and kindness I will always remember. My deepest sympathy to James and loved ones at this time.

I have great memories of often chatting with Agnes in Rarebits many years ago. Though we were children at the time she would engage us in conversation and was always a lovely lady. Agnes you were a beautiful person, inside and out, always smiling, always chatting.
I remember going into Rare Bits as a child just to look at the beautiful bits that you had, you always let me stay as for as long as i wanted, when i did manage to make a purchase i remember you would wrap it with such love, you even showed me how to curl a ribbon. Those moments brought me so much joy as a child and ive never forgotten them.

The sudden passing of Agnes came as a great shock to us. We met her frequently in the Abbey Restaurant, She was a lady of sophistication and charm with an entrepreneurial spirit. She travelled, lived and worked abroad and often regaled us with her experiences. She was very proud of her son, James. May she Rest in Peace

So sorry to hear of Agnes passing. Great Lady so full of life, have memories as next door neighbour in Court Street, Bernie’s always knew how to throw a party.

Loved going into her shop in Slaney St. for a chat and a laugh. She always spoke so lovingly of Doug and James (the apple of her eye.)
