My deep sympathy to Patricia, Paul, and Kieran on the death of Agnes.I have lovely memories of visiting Agnes and talking about cookery and baking with her. I also stayed in her wonderful B and B yrs ago with friends of mine. What a Breakfast she made for us. She visited me also at my home in Boyle. Sorry I was away and missed her funeral. Agnes was a lovely person always enjoyed our chats she had some great stories. She came into my mind last week and I felt guily I had not gone to see her.. she is now reunited with her Dermot and Pa .

So sorry to hear the news that your lovely mum, Agnes, has passed away. I have such fond memories of herself and Pa over the years and always loved the chats with them both and then with Agnes in most recent years.

We have a firm staple dinner in our house called "Agnes's Chicken"! She made the most delicious casserole for us when our Dad died (13 yrs ago) and to this day we still make it regularly - it was never quite as tasty as Agnes's one though!

An absolute one of a kind lady who will be greatly missed. I'm sorry I can't be there in person to pay my respects but please know that I am thinking of you all during this very sad time and sending love.
