AGNES QUILL

Meant to send this weeks ago. I was sad to hear of Agnes' death, a very nice neighbour in Willington Crescent, whose beautiful magnolia tree brightened the road every spring and was her pride and joy. Her name was added to the list of those prayed for at Aifreann na Marbh in the Teacher's Club on November 22nd. Sincere sympathy to her nieces and all her family. May Agnes rest in peace.

My deepest sympathise to the family of Agnes on your loss. Agnes tough me in the late 80s/ early 90s. She was a wonderful person and a great teacher. I was a dyslexic teenagers who she thought how to read, I will never forget what Agnes did for me.

I was so sad to hear of Agnes's death. She was a generous hearted, warm spirit, and a woman of great principle. May she rest in peace.

Agnes was a dear friend ,wise and funny .She loved her garden ,we sometimes swapped 'slips' Her cherry blossom tree was spectacular and she enjoyed its beauty each spring

Angela was a great friend of mine in Basin Lane School long ago and a great support to me throughout my life. She was a central person in our family and attended all our big events, christenings, weddings, parties and funerals. She was so generous and giving throughout her life and so concerned for those less privileged. I have keenly felt her loss through illness over the past few years. Ar dheis De go raibh a h-anam

I first met Agnes in 1965 when she did my sister's hair the morning of her wedding. Our acquaintance continued when I came to live near her in Templeogue and we visted each others houses and played bridge together. Agnes lived a full caring life with great dignity and beauty. May she rest in peace.

I am very saddened to hear of Agnes’ passing. She was a dear friend to my mother, Angela, and played a bit part in our lives. I have many many happy, warm memories of her. She was great fun, glamorous, generous, caring and remembered everyone always. We will never forget her.
