Our sincere sympathy to Sr. Sheila, Maeve and all the family on the death of Una. I got to know Una many years ago through her husband Tony who was involved in our youth club. In latter years before and after Tony died, we enjoyed many chats over the phone and in person and coffee dates in Russells and in her home. She always spoke about her wonderful family, how good they all were to her. She was a very special woman with a great sense of humour and a lovely laugh. I will miss her.

I had the honour of working in Una’s tuck shop in Laurel Hill Coláiste and was blessed to have a beautiful friendship with her and Tony over the years. She loved her bridge and on many occasions I had to fix her computer so she could play her beloved game. She never missed the opportunity to send a birthday or Christmas card. I will miss her dearly.
