Having grown up in Windsor with the Barry’s, I have so many wonderful memories of being invited by Jacinta to listen to Aidan’s jazz band as a child in Killiney Castle on many an occasion. I enjoyed those few hours so much, with my mineral & a packet of crisps.

I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of your lovely dad Celine. He was an absolute gentleman whom I had the pleasure of getting to know a little bit during the Covid lockdown. My condolences to Jacinta and Tony and all your family. RIP
Deepest sympathy on behalf of Sieta and myself to Jacinta, Celine and Tony on Aidan’s sad passing. I had the pleasure of playing with Aidan at the Killiney Castle jazz sessions every Sunday for about ten years. Aidan hardly ever missed a session and played up until his 90th year. Outwardly a little reserved Aidan possessed a keen sense of humour which he used to spice up the many stories he told from the “old days”. A fine gentleman. It was a pleasure to know him.
My condolences to all of Aiden's loving family. I am sad to hear of his passing. I was very proud to get to know him when I took his place in the Killiney Castle Band on Sunday mornings. Aiden literally owned that gig, having served for so many years. He was, in my opinion, a thoughtful, considerate person with a sparkling sense of humour. As a bass player, he gave a solid, steady pulse, almost concealing his considerable knowledge of the theory and harmony behind the music - a good man to have in any band! God bless you, Aiden.
Remembering your dear father Aiden, in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time, dear Jacinta and all the family
