Fionnuala, Eimear, Aidan and Sinead I am sorry to hear of Aidan's passing and also to have missed his funeral only hearing the news today. Aidan was an unbelievable person with absolute integrity and gentleness. He was a superb mentor to me at work. I will always remember my initial trip to Kerry when training and having lunch in the Park Hotel in Kenmare. We both had a great affinity with GAA and I enjoyed hearing about his success on the field at both club and intercounty. He even became a Dubs fan, the influence of St Margaret's, He had divided loyalty when Aidan jnr pulled on the Blues jersey but he managed to balance both balls. Rest in peace Aidan, friend colleague and mentor. RIP

I have just learned of Aidans sad passing. So sorry that I missed his funeral. He was a wonderful Boss and a great mentor to me. Working for and with Aidan were the happiest years of my working life.

My deepest sympathy to the extended Cullen family on the sad death of Aidan. I got to know him in the 80ls through our involvement in Oliver Plunkett’s GFC. He was a quiet reserved man who loved to chat about a wide variety of topics including Gaelic football
a sport in which he gave great service to the Plunkettts in the 50ls and 60ls
