You didn’t have to scratch very hard to get the full smille displaying his youthful spirit….He was a gentle and private character & appreciated the finer things in life. He had a great sense of humour and will be sadly missed.

I was shocked and saddened at hearing the sad news of Aidan's death; the arts world and Dublin's social life will be quite a little dimmed by his absence, and he will be sorely missed.

I had the utmost pleasure of being introduced to Aidan when I recently joined Skal Dublin, It was an honour to create a birthday video collage of him for his last milestone. He was such great fun to be around and ensured no moment when uncaptured. A true gent and such a character, I loved is company and always looked forward to meeting him at Skäl events. What a unique character, was Aidan, a Dublin legend, who enhanced any company he was in , with his charisma , kindness, stories, generosity and such a stylish gentleman. A great ambassador for tourism in Ireland, having been involved in that way of life, many years, which suited him perfectly as his zest for life was infectious. He will be greatly missed.
He is at peace now, will be lighting candles for you all Angel

When we visited Dublin, Aidan (and the rest of the family) made sure our stay was special. Aidan was a great and gracious host and it was obvious that he was held in high regard in the city at the various venues we visited with him.
His joy for life was real. A big smile, a cigar and a glass in hand.

My happy memories of meeting Aiden commenced in Annabel's, where he was a wonderful welcoming host with his perennial big smile, and personality to match.
He captained my favourite nighttime playground expertly!
I was often inspired by his 'party' attitude to life.
I would speculate that his 'bucket list' was probably completed ages ago.
Dublin has lost a true gentleman.

My condolences to Aidan's family on his death. I have had the pleasure of knowing Aidan for many years through Skal. Aidan always contributed positively to the the running and activities of the Dublin Club at committee level and had lots to contribute through his business life expereinces. Aidan was generous with his time and had a great flair for capturing the moments of Skal events through his photography which he willingly shared with members and his photos featured in our Christmas newsletter. We had great fun over the year at so many get-togethers and I will miss his presence and will cherish the memories. May Aidan Rest in Peace.
