Aidan Requiesce in pace.

Saddened to hear of Aidan's passing. Great friend when I was growing up in Hollybrook Grove. I lived in No 14. May Aidan rest in peace.

Remember Aidan fondly ,tried to teach me the guitar , also starred in his educational film 7 day's to Nazareth with the late Gerry Doyle, may they both rest in peace

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Aidan’s untimely passing. He was kind good natured and very talented.

Both York and Its Attractions and York: Historic Capital of the North Films are favourites of mine to watch before a trip to York. Very sad to hear the passing of Aidan. His films will always be dear to my heart. RIP. I will watch them tomorrow for sure in his memory. And thank you for keeping Unicorn films alive and continuing.

My condolences, I worked with Aidan around 10 or more years ago when he'd come to do his filming work in York. Of all the people who came to the Jorvik centre at time - which was a lot! He's the only one I can really recall so vividly. He was a great character and very passionate about his work. A good man

I was heartbroken to learn of the passing of Aidan.

We spent many an hour together, both at his home and in mine discussing film material.

He was always so softly spoken, he was a dreamer who accomplished many of his dreams.

Gone too soon

It is a month tomorrow 17th march2021 since the sudden and much to soon passing of our beloved brother Aidan we know he is in heaven and is watching over and protecting his beloved family friends and everyone that knew him may you Rest In Peace aidan we will never forget you

I was sad to read about Aidan's passing.

I will always remember with fondness our times filming in York with James, David (and maybe Andrew?).

Aidan gave me some excellent opportunities and was always so kind and generous with his knowledge and support.

what can I say about Aidan,that has not already been said.
The great common denominator in all of the aforementioned condolences were,
what a true gentle man he was.
Aidan started out in life as our little brother,who slowly but surely became my big brother.
He very much ploughed his own furrow in the fields that he followed and cultivated
Aidan was a man of many talents.Graduating as a teacher after having served an apprenticeship in carpentry.He went on to build a wonderful house and home
for his family in Howth
Among his many hobbies were music which he loved with a passion and cameras where he developed a skill for filmmaking leading to an immense legacy of documentaries and dramas
He shall never be forgotten by his friends,colleagues,and many others
Aidan was pre deceased last year by our eldest loving brother
.Gerry,and was deeply upset by this . Now they are together they leave behind a massive void in our family.
So on behalf of my sister Margaret and I,and our families,it is with a heavy heart
that we have to part with Aidan our beloved brother

Shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Aidan's untimely death. I have great memories of working alongside him in The Donahie's CS for many years and also working with him on your home in Howth.
Aidan had great enthusiasm for life and everything he did, especially film making which was his labour of love. To Barbara, Andrew, David and Jonathan, Our deepest sympathy for uncle Aidan's passing. Uncle Aiden was a man of great and amazing talents for his work and as a film producer and was always honoured to have been invited along with Dad (Gerard) to Aiden's premieres of his latest film production and always enjoy the amazing atmosphere and engagement Uncle Aiden would generate when there, a true showman and I was profoundly saddened and upset when we heard of Uncle Aiden's passing, He was way too young to go so soon and he was a very unique and kind man and I always enjoyed his company and chats about his work. I hope that Adien and Dad are having a great chat up in heaven about the amazing work they did and having a laugh.

This is very sad news indeed. As you know Aidan was my best friend who I knew for nearly 50 years and who I shared the love of film-making. He hugely influenced me to take up film production and to pursue a career in it. I will be eternally grateful to him for that.

I am sending you all my thoughts and prayers to you all. I also want to send my condolences to his brother Brian and sister Margaret, and to all his extended family and friends.

Aidan and myself kept in touch constantly over the years and so I will greatly missed our chats. He was a very kind, caring and loving man, the best I have ever known.

I worked with Aidan in G&T Cramptons before he left to teach.
Every time I pass St Anne’s Park I think of the film Aidan was making it was one his very early productions in 1975 and I was a Roman soldier.
