Sincere condolences to Aidan’s wife, son & extended family. I had the pleasure of working alongside and shared an office with Aidan and others in the business studies department over several years in the 90’s. He was a great colleague to me at a very early stage in my working life and role model as a lecturer with student outcome and well being always the number one priority. I also remember fondly his capacity for succinct and on occasion droll commentary on issues of the day. It is lovely but not at all surprising to see former students amongst the contributors to this page. RIP

I have very fond memories of Aidan as a colleague. I 'took over' lecturing Organisational Behaviour from Aidan as a young and new lecturer, and had about four days to prepare. He was extremely helpful with notes, encouraging, and kind. A lovely man. RIP Aidan.
