Farewell, old friend. I'm thinking of "Mafia" nights in Chandra's, mad adventures on the roads of Co Cork, gigging some great venues (and some woeful dumps too!) sneaking slabs of Fosters into DJ boxes, and sleeping them off in the back of the van after a feed of half-pounders in Waldos. There's an old saying "It's the laughter we'll remember" - and boy oh boy, there was plenty of that. Give 'em holly on the far side!

Aidan was a permanent fixture every Sunday morning when CMYC returned to sail at the Lough. Though he spent more time joking and chatting, in his own inimitable way, than actually sailing his presence was missed in more recent years as care of his late Mum and his own health took their toll.
