Manus, Sorry for your loss. Condolences to your Mum,Dad and family. He was great. We had no coach back in the day. He stepped in and was wonderful. Fair play to him. Fronting up against the all blacks. I'll never forget that. Great coach. Lovely skin. Very encouraging to me as a young player.

Dear Julie, Marie, Aoife, Darragh, Cian, Conor, Manus and Eavan. As I was so shocked and saddened to hear the news of Aidan's death, I can only imagine what ye went through and are no doubt still coming to terms with. Our first introduction to each other was a Garbally v Jes game in the Sportsground, where I painfully learned that a side-on tackle was a better option than the frontal approach. Playing with him on many pitches and some bogs, and in certain establishments with high stools from Ballinasloe to Lensbury, Chicago to London, Edinburg to Dangan, Taughmaconnell to Ennistymon (the latter on my stag where he ensured I keep my eyebrows for my upcoming wedding), I never failed to enjoy and appreciate his friendship and excellent company. He is greatly missed, and always will be in my heart. Ar dheis Dè go raibh a anam dilis. Micheàl, Clodagh, Molly, Matilda and Ruby Lyons.
