Aidan Kearney

My sympathies to Aidan’s family on his passing. My last year (1965-66) in the Carmelite coincided with Aidan’s first. That year he taught me English. His classes were inspirational and always interesting, his manner ever kind and friendly. May he Rest In Peace.

Heartfelt sympathy to Helen and family on the sad loss of a dear husband and father. Aidan was a gentleman with many talents. His living faith and professional ability were both sources of strength that benefitted all those who were fortunate enough to have known him. May Aidan now rest in God's kingdom having served so well.

It is with deep sadness that I have only now become aware of the sad passing of Aidan. He spent a short time teaching in Marist College, Athlone where I was a boarder at that time. He was my musical inspiration and I owe a deep debt of gratitude to Aidan for a lifetime of music. I owe it all to him.
He was a most friendly and charismatic teacher. May he rest among the angels. My sincere condolences to all the family.

Sincere sympathy to Mr Kearney's family. I have not met him since I was a young attendee at Charismatic prayer meetings in the Carmelite in the late 70s where he was one of the Leaders. Along with the rest of the Leadership team, those prayers meetings had a profound and lasting impact on my faith. I will always be grateful for that. Rest in peace Mr Kearney.
