Sincere condolences to Mairead and all the Kerrigan family on the sudden death of Aidan. My thoughts are with you during this very sad time.

I couldn't believe when I heard the sad news.aidan was a man who stands out in ones memory.charismatic and a great sense of humour. My deepest sympathy to mairead and family. A huge loss.

BOTH MY BROTHER FINBARR AND MYSELF HAD THE PLEASURE OF HAVING HIM AS OUR FORM TEACHER WHEN HE FIRST STARTED IN THE CBS DUNDALK.HE WAS IN A LEAGUE OF HIS OWN AT THE TIME SHOWING US THAT TEACHERS WERE ALSO HUMAN.I WAS ALSO LUCKY TO MEET HIM ON MY LAST VISIT TO DUNDALK.A GENTLEMAN AND A SCHOLAR .OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY FOR HIS WIFE AND FAMILY .HE WILL BE SADLY MISSED MAY HE REST IN PEACE.PLAY A HYMN LADS.............

So sad to hear of Aidan's passing.
He was a true gentleman and a great hurling man.
He spread the hurling gospel from his roots in Wexford up into Louth.
