Deeply saddened to learn of the untimely passing of Aidan, condolences to his wonderful and loving wife Sandra, daughters Lyndsey and Aoibhín, son Eoghan and extended Murphy family. We cherished Aidan's friendship, he was a true Dublin character always up for the banter but he greatly enjoyed living in Rathwire. He displayed amazing love, care and kindness to his beautiful mother during her long and debilitating illness. He truly championed the cause of those with varying degrees of disability and his time as Chairman of Westmeath Centre for Independent Living was very effective. He was a generous man, thinking a great deal of those less fortunate than himself. It really was an enriching time enjoying his genuine friendship, his word was his bond. He will be sadly missed.
