Aidan O'Sullivan

I Have just heard of Aidan’s death in early July and wish to extend my sincerest condolences to his entire family. He was a wonderful guide and mentor, with his brothers , into the GAA world in Killester , St Anne’s estate and Raheny. He served from 1959 as Club Secretary of Raheny GAA club in its early formative years , Delegate to County Board , selector , player and indeed transporter. He provided many with a life time of comraderie and friendship and we were delighted when he attended a number of our lunch get togethers just before the Covid era. I have received many many kind remembrances of Aidan over past few days. Ar dheis Dé dá anam uasal. RIP

I ended up playing Gaelic playing football for Raheny because of Aidan. Rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Aidan. I have many happy memories of Aidan at family events growing up when I loved spending time with Jennifer and Helen. On a more recent visit to France, Aidan visited Jerome's parents in Normandy and he impressed everyone he met with his knowledge of War history and also his curiosity regarding other cultures, not to mention his great sense of humour.
