Sympathies to the Cosgrove family. Aideen was a lifelong loyal friend to Ann
Sincere condolences to Aideen's family. I was so sorry to hear of Aideen's passing. I have fond memories of Aideen that go back to the Model School, then Laurel Hill and afterwards when we both worked in Cork.
We kept in touch over the years with lengthy phone calls. Aideen loved to chat and she was full of fun and loved the 'craic'. She was also a wonderful friend, supportive and interested in everything.
I will miss her so much. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Still loved, still missed and held so dear".

I was so sorry to hear that Aideen has passed away, my deepest sympathy to her dear brothers Tom and Dermot, and indeed sympathies also to her sister-in-laws Brenda and Marian and her nieces and nephews - I have very fond memories of Aideen on the Ballinacurra Road and she always had time to stop and say hello - unfortunately I won't be able to make Mount St. Lawrence (extension) cemetery tomorrow Tuesday but I will be thinking of you all as you say good bye to your dear Aideen's, may Aideen Gentle Soul Rest in Peace -
How lucky we all were to be loved so well by you, for so long. Wherever you are, I hope you know that you were loved very deeply by so many. I will think of you always and miss you until the end of my days ❤️
My darling fairy godmother. Where do I even begin? Well, for starters, let’s be clear, you would have been absolutely mortified and appalled by any public declaration of adoration. Unfortunately, losing you has so profoundly devastated me that I don’t feel up to wordlessly stopping clocks and packing away the moon like that famous poem recommends. So, this will have to do. I hope you can forgive me.
In some ways, we were an odd pairing. You were not “about yourself”. I am my own favourite topic. I love the limelight, you shied away from it. On a good day, I can just about find it within myself to tolerate people, whereas you loved getting to know strangers and finding out about their lives - Cork Kerry tourism did their best day of work when they hired you. Despite all these obvious differences, our relationship was effortless.
You gave me many gifts, but I think the best one of all was how consistently interested you always were in my life, all my goings on, great and small. It did my fragile teenage soul no end of good to always have a willing audience in you. I will forever have your squeals of joy at my engagement news ringing in my ears.
You were fiercely independent, modest, intelligent, funny, gentle and kind. I like to imagine you are sat in a sunny seaside garden with Granny and Richard, having a gas and a giggle, with your favourite opera music playing in the background.

My sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Aideen.
I worked in Cork Kerry Tourism during my student days long before internet bookings were a thing and when winding queues of people made a line from the counter to the front door. Aideen was a lovely person to work with and I remember she always insisted that I would take a break even if I had taken one already! She was always cheerful, funny and supportive. May she rest in peace.

I met Aiden thro Cantairí Mhuscairí. A fine singer. She was a delightful, upbeat, smiling musical person and an honor to have known. Comhbhrón don clann.
Farwell to the OTHER Aideen but actually THE Aideen. 16 years trucking together in CKT and what a laugh we had. Aideen was a very dedicated and loyal colleague but more importantly she was a great friend. She was brilliant to keep in contact with a text, phonecall or email over the years. We used to reminisce and always ended up laughing! God bless you Aideen. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam

My sincere sympathy to Tom, Dermot, Brenda, Marian and Aideen’s nieces and nephews. The expression of how delightful she was does not do justice to her warmth, humour, intelligence and caring nature. She sat in front of me for many years in Laurel Hill and we shared many laughs on our walks home. She was a true treasure and brought joy wherever she went. May she rest in peace.

Day or Night time time had no boundaries . You were one of the most sincere warm and beautiful person I ever have met in my working life when we both stared working with Cork Kerry Tourism. I have lost a beautiful angel but Heaven has given you wings to join Richard and your loved ones. I will always remember you with love and affection . Your heartbroken friend Siobhan.
Condolances to Tom and all the Cosgrove and Mulcahy families on Aideen's death. I have so many happy memories of Aideen, all nourished by her quirky and original way of seeing things. She was great fun, and a great Ambassador for Ireland in the tourism office in Cork. May she rest in peace.
Aideen was a loyal, caring, and loving friend. We worked together for a decade in Cork Kerry Tourism, and her wit and humour made every day brighter.
In the intervening years, we still kept in touch. I looked forward to our chats over coffee — conversations that were inevitably filled with stories, quick wit, and peals of laughter. She had an incredible memory for the small, funny moments and she could recall them with such joy. She was always great for with her WhatsApp messages which always ended in a question and a request for photos of my dog Milo!
She loved dogs. She loved the sea. She loved her family — always speaking of them with affection and pride.
And she was more loved than she ever realised.
Now reunited with her beloved Richard.
Rest in peace, Cossi, my dear friend. I will miss you so very much.
