I have just heard of the death of Aileen and I wish to extend my sympathy and prayer to all Aileen's loved ones. She and I worked together in Bolton Street many years ago. She was a valued colleague and friend. We shared many trusting conversations. Alas, life took us in different directions and we met all too rarely. However, I will never forget her warmth and humanity. I am grateful that our paths crossed in life.

I will miss Aileen very much. She was a kind and generous person always willing to give time to you.She had a wonderful attidude to life. She was a great traveler and enjoyed her cruises to all differant counteries. I fondly rememeber her times together in DIT.

All of us in Cuidiú owe a great debt of gratitude to Aileen and her cohorts for creating this wonderful organisation to support parents around the time of pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and early parenting. Her passion and legacy will live on in the work that we do. R.I.P.

My condolences to Aileen's family. I had the pleasure of training as a psychologist with Aileen. Throughout the two years we were in TCD, Aileen was an incredible support on all fronts not only to me but to others on the programme. I know she made a positive impact on the world of psychology during her career, and I know how important family was to Aileen. May she rest in peace now.
