I am so sorry for the loss of such a fabulous person, my sincere condolences to Aislin, Caitlin, Rory, Conor, Imelda, Pat, Ray and all the family. Working together in Woodlands and the years after, we shared many laughs and unforgettable moments. Ailish was fun, full of life and strong. She had the best of advice while always lighting up a room and speaking her mind with her quick one-liners. She left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. We will miss, celebrate and remember her always.

So sorry to hear of Ailish's passing. Sincere condolences to all her family & friends. I knew Ailish from our school days in St. Mary's College. Reading the many tributes paid to her, it is clear that she never lost her sense of fun. Although our paths have not crossed over all the years since we left school, I can still clearly picture her smile and hear her laughter which brightened up the day for many a classmate back in the seventies. May she rest in peace.

Words can't express our sorrow at the passing of our favourite auntie Ailish. All our thoughts are with Aislin, Caitlin, Rory and Conor at this time. I will always remember Ailish's smile, style and for just always being there. Her and mam were two of a kind - wearing the same outfits; buying the same cards for special occasions. Every time I walk on the beach I will think of Ailish.

I first met Ailish at Caitlin and Aislin's joint fancy dress 21st birthday party. She was fantastic. So much fun and the life of the party. I was lucky enough to visit down in Brittas and met Ailish again. She also crashed our Christmas party a few years ago! Always chatty and friendly. A wonderful mother.
Thinking of all the family at this time. She will be missed.

Thank you for being the brightest light in every room. I’ll miss you forever Auntie Ailish.

Caitlin, Aishlin, Connor and Rory, how lucky you were to have such a wonderful mum. She spoke of you with such pride and how she loved her little man Freddie. I had the privilege of meeting and working with Ailish in Woodlands and this led to a 10 year friendship of which I will cherish the memories forever.

It’s many years since I saw Ailish but our mutual friend Jackie kept me updated on what was happening in her life. I worked at Barking Hospital with Ailish in the eighties and she was the most wonderful midwife. Always great fun if you worked a shift with her. When we all had our babies, Jackie, Kay, Ailish & I we used to meet at each others houses for lunch. These were happy times & I have lots of nice memories from then.

I first met Ailish at the christenings of Aislin and Caitlin. She was warm and welcoming from the start, I felt like I had always known her because that is how Ailish made people feel. She made time for everyone and genuinely loved being with her family and friends. As sister-in-laws living in London , we grew close and spent time together with our young families. Weekends in Gants Hill for Sunday roasts, children's birthday parties in Enfield and Highbury, holidays in France and Ireland, baptisms, communions and weddings. But whatever the occasion, Ailish was always the life and soul of the party. Our children loved Aunty Ailish's visits and sleepover parties with their cousins. The last time I saw Ailish we spent time reminiscing and laughing about these times and I am so grateful that we did.
I feel blessed to have known you Ailish. Rest in Peace.

When we were children, in the summer, my dad, Pat, would take me and my brothers, Patrick and Liam, to visit his family and we would stay on the caravan park of our wonderful uncle and aunty, Ray and Dee. While there, it was guaranteed that we would be spoiled rotten by our fabulous aunties, Ailish and Imelda.

Ailish had a way of making everything fun and she was so welcoming. I felt completely at home whenever I stayed at Ailish's for sleepovers with my cousins, Aislin, Caitlin, Rory and Conor. Me and my brothers have so many special memories of aunty Ailish - her throwing BBQs in the garden, laughing with her in the kitchen and taking trips to Brittas Bay. I remember one summer, my parents having to drag me out of Ailish's house and into the car to go and get the ferry. I was crying my eyes out and begging them to let me just stay with Ailish and my cousins - I can still see Ailish standing in the driveway, waving goodbye. Ailish was an amazing aunty and me, Patrick and Liam feel so lucky to have had her in our lives. I loved her very much and will miss her greatly. She was such a warm person and I will treasure my memories with her, especially meeting Freddie, her grandson, for the first time at her house. From the way they were together and the way Ailish spoke about him, you could so clearly see what a special bond she had with Freddie.

Thank you for being a wonderful aunty. We will miss you so much Ailish. Rest in Peace.
