My deepest condolences to all of the Brown family on the passing of Alan. In recent years I had the pleasure of meeting Alan many times through my late brother-in-law John Breheny on my visits up from Cork. Alan was a kind ,true friend to John. and a regular visitor to John when he was in Greystones and later in Bray. He really enjoyed to chat and warmly reminisce. I have lovely memories of Alan regaling past times he & John spent as youths in London & how they re-met years later in Ireland ; stories often regaled over their favourite fish & chip supper.
May Alan rest in peace.

I got to know Alan many years ago through Inishowen foods where he worked with my husband Joe, when Joe passed away 9 years ago Alan came down to Tullylease on a horribly wet miserable day and has kept in contact since ringing every couple of months. I was last speaking to him.on January 5th for almost an hour. He was so proud of his family and grandchildren I felt I knew them so well because he spoke so often about them. I will miss our chats about music especially. He was such a kind gentleman. Rest in peace Alan 🙏.
