I started my training as a driver tester in 2016 in the Tallaght Driving Test Centre, where I first met Alan. From that very first meeting, he made me feel genuinely welcome. He was an absolute gentleman kind, professional, and a pleasure to work with. He quickly introduced me to his love for music and sing songs, which always brought a smile and some crack to all his colleagues.

In more recent years, I had the privilege of working alongside Alan as a Supervisor, and my respect for him only continued to grow. He consistently treated everyone with dignity and warmth on a daily basis. The way he dealt with people was a credit to himself and to his family, who should be extremely proud of him. He was truly one of the nicest individuals I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and working with.

Alan will be deeply missed.
May he rest in peace.

As big as your heart was alan the fight was too great , i thank alan for the short number of years i had the pleasure to share & enjoy . A lovely caring & delightful Human being, with great love & pride for his family ,let alone great pride in his profession.
